The cast of Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam is getting interesting with each passing day. After roping in veteran comedian Senthil for a crucial role, the makers have also brought Ramya Krishnan on board and she has started shooting.
Director Vignesh Shivan is very particular about not repeating his supporting cast, and hence, has gone for a fresh cast for his latest project, which is being shot in Karaikudi. The other surprise member of the cast is actor-filmmaker Suresh Chandra Menon, who is facing the arc lights after a long time.
Although the makers have denied reports of the film being a remake of Special 26, some leaked stills from the shooting spot clearly indicate that this is indeed a remake of the Neeraj Pandey-directed hit heist-thriller. According to reliable sources, Suriya will be seen in a full-length comic avatar after a long time and it will be a treat for his fans.
It has also been said that the shoot of this project has to be completed by February as Suriya is committed to commence work on Selvaraghavan’s project from March 2017.
