Popular Malayalam actress Kalpana Ranjini is expected to reach her final resting place by around 1p.m. at Tripunithura in Ernakulam on Tuedsay.
Her grieving fans will be able to pay their respects at the Layam Koothambalam Hall in Tripunithura where her mortal remains will be kept from 2 p.m. onwards on Tuesday.
She will then be taken to her house at Thekkumbhagam in Tripunithura where she used to reside with her only daughter Sreemayi, a Plus-One student.
The funeral is expected to be held at 5.30 p.m. at the Tripunithura Muncipal Crematorium on Tuesday.
While shooting for a bilingual Telegu-Tamil movie, Oopiri (Thoza), in Hyderabad, Kalpana had succumbed to sudden cardiac arrest on Monday.
She was 51.
